Currently, we don't preserve these handwritten annotations when indexing the text for search (to improve discovery of early modern texts!), thought we are exploring methods of preserving handwritten annotations like our colleague<span title="External Link: http://www.booktraces.org/" real_link="http://www.booktraces.org/" class="ext_linklike">s at Book T</span>races.<br><br>In EEBO documents in TypeWright, we have seen reports of issues adding lines above and below at the top and bottom of pages, respectively.
